06.10.2015 - IFEMA establishes its position in Latin America
IFEMA is successfully establishing its position as a trade fair operator in Latin America, especially on the Chilean market, which is particularly appealing to Spanish enterprises. This is largely thanks to its three most acclaimed shows, all of which are key events in their respective sector calendars: SICUR Latin America, the international exhibition for comprehensive security equipment, products, technology and services, which will be holding its third edition from September 30 to October 2, 2015; the second edition of GENERA Latin America, the international energy efficiency and renewable energy show; and MATELEC Latin America, the international show for solutions in the electric and electronic Industries, which will be holding its first edition from October 7 to 9 at the same time as GENERA. These three events will be staged at Espacio Riesco in Santiago de Chile. Partner of IFEMA is FISA, one of America’s top fair organisers. Moreover, following the launch of Mac Fruit Attraction in the Middle East and North Africa as an alliance between the Spanish market leader FRUIT ATTRACTION and Italy’s Mac Frut, this new macro event will now also be staged in Latin America. But IFEMA’s work does not stop at event organising. It has a number of initiatives underway in Argentina (strategic guidance for the new events hall in Buenos Aires opening soon), Panama, Peru, Colombia (Medellin) and more. (ch)
