22.09.2015 - Confidence in Thailand
The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has announced six immediate measures with the emphasis on providing assistance and maintaining confidence among MICE organisers and travellers attending events in Thailand. The Bureau is also reiterating that until October 2015 no MICE events will be cancelled and assuring that all key events are still on track. During August to October 2015, the number of MICE events confirmed to be held in Thailand is totalled at 72 events with 76,608 delegates, generating revenue of 6,600 million baht. No events scheduled to be held in Thailand during this time will be cancelled or postponed. TCEB is confident that its ability to facilitate and maintain confidence among MICE organisers and travellers will help them keep all MICE events on track. (ank)
