11.09.2013 - New conference centre opens

On August 28, 2013, the new conference centre of Kielce Trade Fairs opened in the central Polish city ofKielce. This means that the exhibition company now owns one of the most modern centres of its kind in centralEurope. Besides conventions, seminars, workshops, and training courses of different sizes, the newly constructed centre can also host large cultural events such as theatre performances or concerts. One special feature of the conference centre is its multifunctional structure, which makes it possible to adapt the number and size of the convention halls flexibly to the needs of individual events. Overall, the centre provides room for some 1,000 people.

The 1.000 m² foyer can be used for additional exhibition space.

According to Danuta Jamrozik-Szymkiewicz, investment director of Kielce Trade Fairs, construction cost over 70 million zùoty (approximately € 17 million) and is the trade fair company’s largest investment to date. (ank)
