29.04.2013 - Rising demand for meat in China
Reuters China reports that the PRC imported a record volume of beef in January 2013. At 18,489 tons, purchases were up 812% year-on-year, while the pork imported was within the range expected, at 55,536 tons. Comexposium’s Sial China 2013 (May 7 to 9) will dedicate a complete hall at Shanghai New International Expo Centre to the rising demand for meat. The show includes countries such as Argentina, UK, Canada, Germany, Denmark, Hungary, Australia, France, USA and more besides.
