09.04.2013 - China: Growing overseas travel
The last edition of Tarsus Group’s China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market (COTTM) was the largest in the show’s history, welcoming 275 exhibitors from 60 different countries and 4,137 leading outbound tour operators from all over China. The success mirrors the dramatic rise in outbound travel from China. Figures released for the first half of 2012 show a like for like annual increase of more than 20%. By 2015, 100 million Chinese are expected to travel overseas. The next COTTM will take place from April 9 to 11, 2013 at the National Agricultural Exhibition Center, Beijing.
