Spielwarenmesse International Toy Fair Nürnberg and exhibition centre NürnbergMesse are extending their master agreement through 2021. A mainstay of the agreement is extension of the exhibition venue by bringing forward the construction of Hall 3A. The hall is to be ready for the beginning of the International Toy Fair 2014. The new hall, which is scheduled to cost €36 million, will put the finishing touches to building work on the eastern section of Nuremberg fairground. It connects to Hall 4A in the south and will cover an area of more than 8,000m². In cases where the site is used by various events at the same time, the newbuild will also ease the situation and create new scope for scheduling events. (ch)
