Sea of lights in the Mediterranean
"Fantastic, incredible, wow!" exclaimed the guests who dropped anchor in Valletta harbour last autumn. Three ships were chartered for a whole week by the customer of the Cologne-based agency Smart events. 3,600 cruise passengers stopped over in Malta to experience an atmospheric evening event. The agency had put together a seven-hour program that brought together no fewer than 65 artists. The following day, 500 VIP guests were invited to an exclusive brunch in the Maltese Congress Centre. The historical vaulted cellar and the 170 metre long table provided a backdrop with character. Malta’s deputy prime minister, Toni Borg, paid tribute to the good cooperation between the agency and all the Maltese companies involved and was happy to report: "Malta is rapidly becoming an attractive and competitive partner for such events."
