Swarovski Dancing Crystals

For the rollout of its new 2005 Tropical Collection, crystal specialist Swarovski took a road show to four German cities. The intention was to provide a live presentation of the collection and brand and to address the target group - collectors and the public at large - emotionally. For one day each the company's products were put on display in exclusive glass cabinets at shopping malls, and during the accompanying signing sessions collectors could have their pieces autographed by the respective designers. The road show revolved around a dance performance, Swarovski Dancing Crystals, a fashion show presenting the individual products in the Tropical Collection in a sparkling, theme-based manner.
Two cube-shaped lights to the right and left of the stage framed the setting. A video wall both documented what was happening and ran backup footage for the show. Antje Peters-Reimann
