Frankfurt Hotel Alliance forming

The FHA Frankfurt Hotel Alliance is a pool of 25 first-class and luxury hotels in Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region with 6,500 hotel rooms, which emerged from the ERFA2 in Frankfurt. The FHA is not affiliated to any specific hotel brand and will admit to its ranks only hotels which are members of the supranational IHA. One of the FHA's objectives is to effectively position the specific services offered by the affiliated hotels on the market and thereby to support and complement the marketing activities provided by the city of Frankfurt, the Rhine-Main region as well as local and regional institutions. Bianca Spalteholz, proprietor of Bianca Spalteholz Hotel Business Development, will chair the new group together with two hoteliers: Anton Wüstefeld, director of the InterCityHotel Frankfurt Airport and the InterCityHotel Hahn Airport, Frankfurt as well as Horst Mayer, director of the Hotel Hessischer Hof Frankfurt and the Schlosshotel Kronberg. The members appointed a chairperson from outside their ranks in order to give their group initially established as communication platform an unbiased, proactive and sales-geared orientation.
Said Bianca Spalteholz: "6,500 high-class hotel rooms in a city like Frankfurt am Main today should find a common denominator in order to present themselves jointly and to position themselves effectively. One of the main features of our project idea is to establish a joint platform for convenient access to 25 professionally-operated hotels."
