Off to a good start
At the Düsseldorfer Wirtschaftstage (Düsseldorf Business Days) some companies notched up important successes. Here a few examples:
• Klüh Service Management GmbH, a prominent European services company focusing on catering, cleaning, security, airport service and personnel and facility management, signed a contract at the 4th Düsseldorfer Wirtschaftstage on the purchase of shares in a Moscow-based cleaning business and acquired the majority in the company NGW Rus, which employs a payroll of 200.
• The company Hydraulik Union Schmolz GmbH, manufacturers of hydraulic plant and control engineering, which recently began producing road cleaning machinery in a joint venture with the company Remputmasch from Kaluga, took home from last year's meeting with the mayor of Moscow an order to deliver a machine to the Moscow municipal authorities.
• Düsseldorf-based tour operators GTI Travel, who are also looking to expand into Russia, found a ready hearing with Mayor Lushkov, who is keen on expanding tourism trade, particularly in the context of the acquisition of Vnukovo Airport.
