11.12.2014 - Montgomery acquires the W exhibition
Angus Montgomery has announced the acquisition of the W exhibition. The show will be incorporated into the Montgomery portfolio of events from January next year. W is the UK’s leading joinery and furniture manufacturing show. Damion Angus, managing director of Montgomery commented, “We are very excited about our involvement in this event and really look forward to working with the show exhibitors and the industry as a whole to take it forward in 2016. We will also be working very closely with John Smith-Bodden of Huddlestone Events to ensure a smooth transition and John will continue to be involved on a consultancy and advisory basis”. Montgomery originally launched the event as the International Woodworking Exhibition in 1973 to run alongside Interbuild. W is now one of the UK’s largest trade exhibitions, covering 20,000 sqm at the NEC in Birmingham. The next edition of W will run at the NEC from the October 2 to 5, 2016. (ad)
