The new team behind Motortec Automechanika Madrid (March 11 to 14, 2015), Spain’s leading international trade fair for the automotive industry at Feria de Madrid, has announced its new plans to further boost the sector and create yet more business opportunities for professionals, companies and associations. Initial talks with the sector forecast further growth of the fair in terms of those attending, exhibitors and the overall size of the exhibition. “We have prepared a state-of-the-art fair, custom designed for the automotive after-sales and service station sectors.” These are the words of new show director Miguel Aguilar, who heads a commercial team led by Pedro Pedrero (spare parts and accessories) and featuring Ana Sánchez Terán (service stations and car washes), Alberto Leal (garage equipment) and Pilar Heredero (communications and activities). The team also has the active collaboration of the business development department, led by Carlos González García de la Barga. The show’s new segmentation seeks to accurately reflect the diversity and extent of the products and services available on the market. This is the case, for example, in the “Electronics and Systems” area, which, having grown in importance over recent years, will have its opportunity at the fair to meet the needs of those interested in aspects such as vehicle electronics and comfort and driver assistance systems.
