Reed Exhibitions, the world’s leading event organiser, has announced the launch of two new shows. In South America, Brazil will host the next international edition of Alimentaria, following an agreement between Alimentaria Exhibitions and the country's leading exhibition organiser, Reed Exhibitions Alcántara Machado. The show, to be held September 16 to 19, 2013 at Parque Anhembi in São Paulo, will run concurrently with Equipotel Sao Paulo, Latin America's largest hospitality and food trade show. At its first edition, Alimentaria Brasil expects to occupy an area of 18,500 m² and bring together close to 300 exhibitors and 50,000 professional visitors. The second new event – the International Airport Infrastructure Show and Conference (National Airport Infrastructure Show, (NAIS) – debuts in Russia. It will run March, 4 to 6, 2014 at the International Exhibition Center Crocus Expo in Moscow. Development of the air transport infrastructure in the Russian Federation is strategically important in terms of territorial connectivity and transport accessibility and has a direct impact on Russia’s economic growth. NAIS will be held annually in Russia, focussing on the huge variety of products and services required to shape and develop the airport industry in the Russian Federation. (ank)
