Increase in visitor numbers

London (akm) - The visitor attendance figures for Railtex 2009, which took place at Earls Court Two in London from March 10 to 12, underline the success of the latest edition of the UK's premier rail event. A total of 8,257 rail industry professionals from 47 countries visited the trade fair - an increase of 22 % compared to the number attending the previous show in 2007. Exhibitors totalled 373 from 18 countries. This was the ninth Railtex show organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions and the first to take place at Earls Court since 1999.
