Eurocis visitors: topmanagement in retail

Düsseldorf (se) - Eurocis 2009, trade fair for IT and Security in Retail, saw a total of 5,300 trade visitors (2007: 5,200) over the three days of the Düsseldorf-based event running February 10 to 12. The trade audience came predominantly from Germany, followed by the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe. Altogether 216 exhibitors from 18 countries participated this year. With 6,000 square metres net exhibition space a 20 percent increase in exhibition area over the previous event was posted. 48 percent of the trade visitors represented top management in retail, organisers Messe Düsseldorf report as one result of a visitor survey.
