Frankfurt (akm) - The 61st Frankfurt Book Fair will open its gates from October 14 to 18, 2009 at Messe Frankfurt. “This year’s fair will be the most eager to try out new things that we’ve ever had”, said Book Fair Director Juergen Boos. Novels for the mobile phone, non-fiction books for e-readers, games for online communities and film adaptations for smart phones: The international book and media industries are in the midst of change. About 7,000 international publishers, businesses and institutions from 100 countries in attendance are expected. Particular attention will be devoted to the issue of media literacy within the framework of the key focus Education for the Future.
